The sister project of Ocotillo, broke ground a few months after implementing the Ocotillo identity. We aimed to keep the projects unique, yet related. Maintaining the base wayfinding system, we gave this project a unique visual identity with just as much punch as Ocotillo. Again, we let the natural elements inspire the identity — motifs from the Palo Verde tree, acknowledging location and essence of the Texas hill country through the language and imagery, and taking a queue from the mid-century modern architecture to inform things like type and proportions.
